Somewhere along R755

On my hike yesterday, I took the very long route from highway N11 to the back side of the Sugar Loaf to start the hike up to the top. On my way I stopped and had lunch here, in a random field, and this is what I saw. (For my sisters, Erin and Hilary)

Brittas Bay. I even took my shoes off, tried for the cold water, and got a little sun on my arms.

Here is another small drawing of the beach by the Black Castle in Wicklow Town. This one is for my friend Hannah, whose birthday was on the 19th and I forgot to send her a card. (So I'll send her this one.)

And another version of this drawing I did today, just for giggles. Also because my eye is acting up and I cannot go for a walk to collect more images to work from.

Here's a little update on what I've been working on these past few days. I'm taking a small break now waiting for the color to dry before the next layer goes on.

Ah and here's the finished product. At least I think it is. I might see fit to change it a teensy weensy tomorrow.
